  Great hotel. Big rooms. Old building looks very old and not modern but decent. Expansive. Great dinner!

  Good location and shuttle services. Room was nice, so as breakfast and dinner. The old building feels old, try asking to be in the modern one. Curtains do not dark the room.

  Such amazing hotel.... Alishan House provides you the best time while you were there. Best food, best service, best atmosphere! Definitely come back again.

  Considering where we are, this was a really nice hotel inside the national park. If you are not afraid to hike/walk, most attractions would be reachable from this convenient location. They also have bus shuttles to and from the train station/visitors center. The room was pretty large, nice comfortable decor, some with great views. The carpets were dated though and was not very clean.

  The staff were super amenable. We got a late start up the mountain and didn't arrive at the hotel until 8:15 pm. Dinner ends at 8:30 pm. The front desk supervisor had them escort us to dinner and told us to complete our check in after we ate. It was dark, so I am not sure about the views at this time. We are in the historic building, so our room was old, but it is very nice. So far so good.
