  The Fitness Factory is an average gym with adequate equipment and space. The gym has a lot of cardiovascular equipment and machine weights. The free weight section is pretty small which can cause longer waits during some of the busier times. A major drawback is members’ phone usage on machines in-between sets which can be bothersome during the busy evening times. There are several signs around the facility and on machines to remind members of gym etiquette. The best time to avoid a crowd is mornings or afternoons. The gym is pretty maxed during the evenings. If you plan to hire a PT, I’d advice to find out if the PT session rate meets your budget before signing up for a membership. It didn’t seem like the membership services were very upfront about disclosing the PT costs. They seem high to me, but a significant percentage also goes to the gym. There are a few PT coaches and service representatives who can speak English if needed. They are friendly and eager to help. Overall, it is a very large and clean workout facility on the west side of Taichung.

  這間運動工廠是台中旗艦店，原本這裡是游泳池，後來才改成健身使用，所以空間感非常大，洗澡的設施和動線延續了之前游泳池spa的設計，所以相當舒服！唯有的缺點就是鐵皮屋和空間感，讓整館環境噪音和音響轟轟然⋯⋯聲音出不去也進不來～自然大家講話或聽話都非常吃力，音樂效果也非常不佳，所以自備耳機才是好的保護耳朵之道！
