  A friend and I were drawn like moths to a flame when looking up at the colored lights located on the 29th Floor of Hotel One. High enough above the Taichung Skyline to make your ears pop, Lounge One offers a substantial cocktail menu.

  One of the poorest service experiences I've had in Taiwan, maybe all of Asia. They are supposed to be an upscale bar, charging 350 - 400 TWD per drink, but the service is worse than what I get in 7-11. Showed at 6pm, right when they opened, the place was completely empty. They sat us on the side of the lounge where there is no view... We asked if we could sit on the other side, they said those tables are all reserved. We left at 8:30pm, the place was still completely empty. (now i know why) except for 1 table which entered with us. My girlfriend dropped her glass cause they freeze their glasses which causes frost on the glassware and makes it very slippery. They cleaned up the spill, but did not offer to remake her drink... For 400 NT, I think a place should replace your glass if you drop it by accident. All in all a terrible experience, with terrible service. Would definitely not return again.
