The ikea in urban center that is smaller than the regular one, but provides almost the same function, so there always are so many people, especially the restaurant! Therefore, there are some table for standing to eat, a very special eating way. Anyway, the location, price, environment is good!

The "Swedish" food they offer isn't all that good especially when you go for the fancy fish or lobster that is sometime available, but it is very cheap. Otherwise everything else is exactly what you expect from an Ikea most people are able to speak some basic english at least should you not know any Mandarin.

Like most IKEA stores, this offers a range of attractive furniture displays, Swedish food and is quite conveniently located in the middle of Taipei City. If you drive your own car though, it's best to avoid this store. Especially if buying large pieces of furniture. Even though this is the closest store to me, I don't go to this store anymore. Instead I drive to Xinshuang where a proper IKEA store is located. Parking is very inconvenient in the building this IKEA is located. It has a height limitation of 175 to 160 cm (so be careful with your SUV), it's expensive, (a bill of about 13,000 only gave me 3 hours free parking), and it's a bit of a labyrinth to bring the shopping cart from IKEA to the parking as the parking belongs to the building, not IKEA. If you plan to drive to this IKEA to buy something, park in the "Egg". The sports stadium across the street and walk across. Cheaper and more convenient. This limits you to smaller items, but this store doesn't seem to have any large items in stock anyway. Which brings me to the last point... If you buy any large furniture, you will need to either come back the next day in the evening to pick it up, or order delivery for about NT900. No matter how large the car you go to the store with. If you want your large-piece furniture the same day as you buy it, go to the Xinzhuang Store. IKEA needs a large Taipei City store on the fast-growing suburbs on the east side of the city. With ample space, places like Neihu is swarming with furniture stores. I wonder how many years it'll take before IKEA wakes up.

Good place for quick lunch or dinner if you happened to be here, or just finished your furniture window shopping.. Sometimes their small articles are more attractive than their furniture, especially when you just finished your home decor... Their products can be considered as they do refresh the existing image of your place and add some themes from their characteristic styles!
