  Jack is the best bartender in Taiwan. His English is perfect and he makes everyone feel welcome. My company has been drinking at his bar for 20 years. It's become a right of passage to do shots with Jack.

  Forgot about this place for many years, but I'm glad to have rediscovered it. The food is quite good for Western fare, but we wanted extra salsa with everything to give it more flavor. The drinks were fine, but a little pricier than elsewhere. I think they are catering to the foreigners who might be staying at Kuva Hotel on business. Happens to be not too far from my neighborhood, though, so I think we'll be adding it to the rotation.

  The staff are all friendly and there's usually a pretty good mix of locals and foreigners. I've see nights were it feels like a college bender and others where it was like sitting around a campfire where everyone is singing songs together. The owner, Jack, is usually drinking tequila behind the bar, but he's always very welcoming and keeps accurate tabs.
