  Just average food with kind of high tousity prices (which we expected for the area). There is a 100 NT$ minimum per person. They offer ice cream, tea, pasta, risotto, salad, steak and other western foods ($250+ average). You order up at the counter and then go sit down. The man at the counter taking orders wasn’t very pleasant (granted, he deals with tourists all day) but our server was kind. Your food will come out one by one, slowly. We were a group of four and two of us finished before our last group member got her food. Do yourself a favor and don’t order the Fruit & Yogurt Salad (it’s Iceberg lettuce with a giant dollop of yogurt on it and seasonal fruit and tomatoes. Weird and overpriced).

  It's a decent tea cafe. The tea is good although expensive for what you get. I wasn't impressed with the food or desserts, but there was nothing especially wrong with it, just okay. The atmosphere is cute and relaxing up in the mountains, but the tables and furniture are worn and things in general could use some maintainence and care. I'd come back for the tea and I can recommend it on that alone, but next time I'll just have tea and nothing else. I'd give this a 3.5/5. A 4 is too generous though so I have to go with 3.

  Meal is rather decent and price is decent. They even sell tea bag and ice cream. Will recommend people to chill in this shop if they visit maokong in the afternoon. (For tea time)

  One of the more reasonably priced cafe in the area. Tea (from NT$300) is great quality and free self help water refill. Also serve tea flavoured soft serves and cafe food. However, not much view. Does have minimum charge per head. Take visa and master card. There is a toilet on second level via stairs. They also have a small shop which sell Tea leaves and tea pots.

  Cosy mountain-top experience (literally). Not much space in the small cafe so there's limited seating and small tables. Nicely decorated for Christmas and I guess other seasons. Menu has a sufficient variety of desserts, snacks, teas, drinks, and mains for a small place. The standard of the food is not too bad, but the year are great! Slightly pricey, probably contributed to by the location. Great views just outside from the top of the mountain. Good service. Get up here either by maokong cable car or a drive up the hill.
