Very nice Japanese food, good service and a nice restaurant overall. However, it's very expensive,.

Great place for a date, meal with parents, big groups (they have two rooms for large parties) or to bring your foreign clients to. Beautiful decor and great service. Super cute bowls and plates also. Food wise, overall every dish is done very well and really refined. Even their sashimi/sushi uses high quality fish. I usually come here with my family for lunch for their lunch sets. We haven't been disappointed yet by any of their sets, their lamb is done especially well. Only one I haven't tried is the eel lunch set since it's quite pricy around NTD 1200. TIPS: 1) come for lunch, their lunch sets are much more worth it although still pricy for Taiwan standards. 2) ask them for the fried sesame tofu, (might not be on the menu!) trust me, it's one of their best dishes and I've never seen or had it in other Japanese restaurants, they cook it in a very unique way - it's almost like a sesame tofu lava cake.

Here for business lunch. food is not too bad But a lot of JP restaurants in Taipei so not necessary have to come here as it's pretty expensive too. Sushi plate looks a bit messy

Yes, it is expensive. The food is prepared as you would expect in Japan. However, they are not Japanese as evident by the offer to hear the high quality sake. The food was very good, but not excellent. The food was fresh, tasted good, but missed on the finer points of blending and taste. The food took too long on all but the sushi. However, the wait staff were alert and caring. Price point is at the high end, but not outrageous for Taipei.
