  My friend and I rented bikes here to do a half-way around Taiwan bike trip, and unfortunately didn't have a great experience overall. Firstly, I reserved bikes about 10 days ahead by calling them on the phone and also by email, and they said they'd have at least two size mediums, maybe bigger. When we showed up, they had a medium and a small. Not good for two tall dudes. They ended up upselling me to a nicer one, but should have given it without an upcharge since they screwed up the reservation. In addition, during the reservation, there was no mention of a 1200 twd each charge for shipping the bikes back to Kaohsiung at the end. All of the Giant corporate stores will do this free of charge, so since they didn't mention it, I assumed this was the case here. Wrong! Maybe they didn't want to mention because then I'd go somewhere else to rent? The bikes themselves were fine, but overall, I wouldn't recommend renting a bike here for a bike trip, as the reservation mistake and lack of full information really soured our experience. There are many other larger Giant corporate stores that will probably have more bikes and better deals.

  Ha ha ha, like other reviewers I also noticed the manager is handsome. Pretty decent selection of gear and bike repair available--my only complaint is they're a bit conservative about having you replace things that need to be replaced. I think they don't want you to think they're pushing sales, but actually, I don't mind buying something new if it'll make my biking experience better. I like the size options for biking jerseys and other kit. It's one of the only places I've been to that has choices for big size women. There's usually at least one person on staff who speaks English. They also have a free air pump outside, that I believe you could use 24 hours.
