  A typical Taiwanese super market. The store had several floors, and produce vary from electronics to cosmetics and groceries. We were happy to learn that it slightly cheaper than Carrefour or A-Mart. Just don't expect too many Western products. If you spend some time getting familiar with local products, you'll soon find your favourites and go-to items even here. No plastic bags are sold here anymore, bring your own or buy a reusable shopping bag at the cashier.

  A bit old, run down, and crowded - but slightly cheaper prices than other stores on most (not all) items

  You can find almost everything you need for your house under one roof here. First level has clothing, electronics, large and small appliances, basically all household supplies. Second level is foods. I go couple times a week and prices will change regularly on foods. I buy the same things almost every trip and have noticed prices going up and down...not a big deal though, it's mostly inexpensive. The place is dated, worn, and not squeaky clean but gets the job done.
