  Lovely atmosphere and great hosts. It's a nice place to meet foreigners from all over the world. We've been many times and have always enjoyed being there.

  I went here with a friend and had a blast. There was live music and a selection of good beers. They also served this bee alcohol which got me a really good high. The staff is friendly and the vibe is good.

  So if you're in a place where you're longing for some of those good ole' creature comforts like good beer, good sandwiches, good pizzas, and good English this is the place youre looking for. The hop attracts and caters to some of the most lovely people I know of. The service is sincere and the atmosphere is tempered with a nice diffused lighting that makes you feel as if you stepped in a teleportation machine that brought you to some obscure street corner in the outskirts of some charming far off town. Mention this review to the owners to redeem this special offer: buy one beer for the price of three and get the next two for FREE!

  IF YOU ARE A WESTERNER IN TAOYUAN, COME HERE FIRST!!! Staff is incredible, the owner is a boss and a gentleman. The HOP takes great care of customers. Come for casual food, frequent drinks, and the best Belgian beer selection in Taoyuan. Free pool, darts, and the entertainment is world class live performance in a cozy, pub setting. The HOP is a first stop if you are making a Taoyuan settlement or a one night stay. Highly recommend the pizzas and Belgian beers.

  Pizza was tasty, ordered different flavors and all were fresh and portion was definitely enough. Staff, menu bilingual. Menu for drinks and food are separate so there's enough diversity for all tastes. One downside, they forgot two dishes from our order. Perhaps not enough staff as the bar was full on a Tuesday and many items in the menu were not available. Nonetheless, good music, food and ambience.
