AVOID THIS BAD BUFFET if you can . Extremely ghost food. There was absolutely nothing you can swallow here. False advertisement. No king crab legs. The lobster was cold and tasteless, look very pale and not very hygiene. The cost to enter this buffa$$ was $70/person, such a waste of money and time. Bring your money elsewhere to spend. Don’t be like me. You will get very mad and want to fight with people to release your madness after you have tried this buffa$$. Don’t trust the YouTube video that other people made about this buffa$$. Of course, they did very fancy ones to lure people in and steal your money. Such a disappointment buffa$$. F$$$CK YOU “The kitchen Table” buffa$$. I will make a YouTube video about how bad this buffett was to let other people know so they can bring their parents or their loved ones elsewhere to enjoy their dinner and avoid the waste of money at this “the kitchen table” buffa$$$$$$.

Quite disappointing food choices for high buffet price. The only food I enjoyed the most is soft crab shells. I thought they offered king crab legs (I saw pictures on blogs, internet) but there was none. The lobsters were precooked and served cold, no problem if they were good, but the cooking seemed not consistent in temperature/quality, some lobsters were ok, some were not tasty. I had bad luck my 1st lobster was bad I lost interest; my sister got 1st good but 2nd bad and 2nd one made her feel throwing up. I did not see any king crab legs, seafood is very limited. There was no name tag/source indication for each seafood and I wonder what kind of shrimp/seafood I was getting except Boston Lobster, they named all seafood as 'Under the sea section'. Some people praised high on fresh fruit juice section, but you should know they don't serve any kind of fruit at your wish, only those present at scene. Desserts are nice but did not give me 'wow'. Ice cream is made by W, no Haagen Dazs, no Movenpick, if you care for brand name ice cream, go somewhere else. If you have been a long time seafood mania and you have always liked eating seafood, if you know seafood, please, do not come here. It may be once great but it is going down now! This is for people who are not serious seafood fan but are looking for a good place chatting with family/friends. W Kitchen Table-Taipei has spacious seat arrangement, my family and I did not need to shout out loud talking to each other, we could talk easily at table, not much interfered by other tables. There is no time limit for eating. However, I could not recommend it since it is named 'Seafood night' and apparently lacks of variety and quality.

This morning was a disaster breakfast experience there. The hostess was super rude, started using Mandarin to us and raise up her voice right after western group. We feel that chubby hostess had discrimination to Asian face. As we are not that familiar with Mandarin. Overall food quality is good, but omelet still can be better. We are surprised that ice cream and chicken lollipop ball are super tasty. There’s another unpleasant thing is the servers who collected our plate were very impolite. These two young guys never smile to guest and had zero response from guest. I was grateful they collected my plate, they just walked away. Service team was cold that really turned us down. The young lady with suit was only one had better attitude, we wish she could lead team better in future. Won’t go back unless in rush.

Delicious seafood buffet and sumptuous daily bfast spread Stayed at W Taipei for two weeks so I had quite a few meals at the Kitchen Table. Firstly the seafood buffet was simply paradise for those who love fish and crustaceans. There were lobsters, shell fishes, shrimps, Oysters, sashimi and sushi, baked fish etc and that's only mentioning the seafood spread. I'm probably overstating this but the variety of food on display was out of this world and no way would anyone be able to try all the food in one sitting. I liked how there was freshly squeezed juices at the buffet too. The meal came to approx USD 75 before a discount for hotel or SPG guests. For daily breakfast, a similar breadth of spread was on offer although I mostly restricted to freshly squeezed juices, fruits and muesli on most days. Bread lovers would find the bread and pastry section fascinating. Western breakfast dishes such as eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans and tomatoes etc were available in addition to traditional Taiwanese foods, a noodle station, some Japanese dishes, and lots of salads and even an array of ice cream...who eats ice cream in the mornings anyway lol Overall, despite the two weeks stay at W Taipei, I was never bored with the breakfast at Kitchen Table and really enjoyed the seafood spread at the dinner buffet. Hope you like it as much as I did... Tip: go outside after your meal for a stroll around the pool area. It's a place where magic happens... https://www.tripadvisor.com.sg/ShowUserReviews-g293913-d2202370-r502368465-The_Kitchen_Table-Taipei.html#

We love the juice bar. Very refreshing. Sashimi was hit and misses. There were some cheap cut that no one wants, and they just won't put out new ones.... The chef's special, where they ring the bell to let you know when it's ready, were just bad... Desserts were above average, in buffett standard of course. Not a lot to choose from. Overall, above average buffet, but not great.
