  Good place to have a coffee I came to meet friends at the Ueshima Coffee shop located in Don-chu aria, which comes from Japan. I relaxed in the calm shop while drinking iced latte.

  No espresso drinks! Pastries fairly good but far too expensive for the quality. Menu features a truly pathetic collection of bland, limp, poorly executed club sandwiches and tough waffles. Atmosphere is elegant and clean, but service is highly variable. Better value elsewhere!

  Disgusting. Forgot to bring cash and the waiteress just started laughing?? “You don’t have money??” Followed with the most tideous laugh. Much respect?? This is how they treat a customer and I am not impressed. Would definitely give -5 stars if I could. Honestly so dissapointed. Worst customer service ever! Have the worst worker training, maybe there isn’t even one. Cannot emphasize how disgusted I was. Ugh, felt so disrespected. Rude.

  Out of all the Asian chain coffee shops in Taipei (Mr. Brown, Ikari, etc.) Ueshima is definitely the best. It’s super clean and the environment is really nice. The staff is attentive to detail with their service. The coffee is just ok. The sandwiches are nice; they taste fresh and I like that they don’t use the sweet milk bread that a lot of other cafes use. They use a multigrain or a non-sweetened white/wheat blend. Favorite sandwiches are the BLT and smoked salmon sandwiches. Great environment for studying and working; the only drawback to that is they have like 2 electric plug outlets, which is annoying if you want to charge a computer.
