  The hostel is near railway station .Good for the quoted price .5 start specially for the very kind hearted and helpfull owner .

  A moderate hostel to stay. But most of the time complete empty even no one at the reception so it's not very friendly.

  There’s no doubt this hostel close to the train station. So, there’s no hassle regarding transportation approach. But the major uncomfortable part of this hostel was towel was not provided. The bedroom is so hard where you feel you are sleeping on the rock. 7 eleven and other several bars, restaurants located nearby the hostel. The excellent part was free bicycles where you able to go anywhere around hualien with bikes. I went to qi Xing tan with bike. And it was quite amazing experience I have ever had.

  Conveniently located a short walk from Hualien station and close to many shops and restaurants. The owner was very friendly, helpful and provided us with a local map and recommended several places to visit nearby. There are also bicycles you can borrow for free. Our double room was spacious and the bed was comfortable (not one of those stone-like torture mattresses). It wasn't really dirty but the place could do with a little more cleaning and you're not allowed to eat or drink in the rooms.

  Stayed 3 nights + lovely and very helpful host, gave us a local map upon arrival and marked/translated hotspots, gave us tips for activities, even for further travel along the east coast + free bikes + spacious private double room + free tea + soap and shampoo provided in showers + hair dryers provided in bathrooms + free WiFi + very quiet atmosphere, great for those who want to get a good night sleep - cleanliness in the bathroom could be improved You have to take off your shoes and store them in the shoe rack before entering the upstairs area. Slippers are provided. And you're only allowed to eat in the communal area.
