  Very impressive, too with Costco' s operation here in Nei-Hu, Taipei Taiwan. With some interesting differences, the store is extremely popular with local customers. Hot dog with clam chowder at Costco? Only in Taiwan.

  I do all my coffee, cheese, and meat shopping here. Great value. Just get there before official opening to avoid the crowd

  [General Costco Review: Not Store specific] Typical american wholesale...Unless you are a family of 10, packaging is to big and you end up with tons of foodwaste, which no one cares, since everybody is conviced they got it at such a great price. Lot's of US product. Unless you really look for organic, you end up with GMO products. Stores in Taiwan, generally to croweded and feels more like a bazar. We only go there for a very few specific products we can not find anywhere else and try to limit visits to 1-2 times a year. Definately prefer Carrefour providing better quality at same price level

  Costco is the standard for reasonable prices in wholesale consumables, with nearly the best prices for commodities like TVs or refrigerators, and for the diverse selection of product type, the range of well known brand names is limited but selected according to the Kirkland standard of affordable quality. For example, 36 can cases of Zero are sometimes better than 24 can cases at other stores. The same goes for Duracell batteries, meaning the goods are reasonably which is really an indication of how over-priced most imported goods are in Taipei in general. Sometimes there is a misconception about USDA beef; that all USDA beef that is Prime or Choice is going to be the same stateside or abroad. To me, while the grade is indicative of texture, but what farm or ranch the meat is from is far more important. So if Kirkland's stamp of approval is ideal, then everything is aligned. I just want to point out that Taiwan's local Yellow Beef, is extraordinaire; And Japanese milk from Hokkaido is other worldly. Thus, for real quality foods just look around and you will find gourmet fruits, consistent organic lettuce, Kobe beef, etc, but you will pay a premium and not all is under one roof. Conclude with me then, the best prices, reasonable quality and everything COSTCO, is at Costco
