  If you want to relax nearby Tamsui river. This place is suite for you because you can view the river scene from your room. Hotel structure is quite old (just look at interior will know). There is no MRT station nearby this place you need to use Taxi or private car to access this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful we can feel better from old interior by their welcome and hospitality. Bathrooms need to be improve in someway you can tell that this hotel is build long time ago.

  Stayed here for a night, given a card saying table occupied to place on the table at breakfast don't expect mainland visitors to take any notice

  Spacious room, generous buffet breakfast, and generally very good value for money. The only downside is the hotel location, quite a hilly walk to and from the MRT station (during the night the path is dark and empty, I didn't feel safe walking to and from hotel to MRT station after dark). Not recommended for elderly, travelling with small kids, and solo female travellers.
