  鄧師傅值得這個價格。 和排骨便當店般，隔著玻璃櫃子打菜。 乍看是沒兩樣，仔細觀察了，首先，它沒有佔用騎樓與人行道營業！再來，餐檯和盛放菜餚的大瓷盤（不是白鐵盤），總是力求保持潔淨，菜肴美觀。 鄧師傅除了蹄膀，子排，牛肉等肉品料理，蔬菜類也極盡用心調理，令其益加美味，火侯掌控得宜，這些不是光下高鮮味精或甘貝素等就達到的效果。 滷豬肉滷蹄膀香味很特別，幾乎和老正興（已歇業）的東坡肉一樣。然後，豬皮軟糯不爛。 青椒釀肉，餡子的配料很得宜，因此內外的滋味一致，值得再嚐。 乾煸四季豆火侯洽好，豆夾炸得軟而不焦，保持青綠色，肉末粒有炒乾，蒜頭酥而無糊味。至於油悶苦瓜,我向衷情。 蔥油黃帝豆，看來一青二白，平淡無奇，嚐起來，滿滿蔥香無蔥辛，豆衣很軟，豆仁鬆糯，特有豆味濃郁。（蘇州菜的蔥油蠶豆演變而來的嗎？） 鄧師傅的營業模式，我認為，它決非巷弄便當店，而是高級料理的烹調手法，以較小的分量販售，並且反應於價格。 （頭次上門用餐大概是民國80年底，鄧師傅口味總是不斷求好地微調精進，很用心。)

  A gastronomic experience. Possibly the best pork knuckle I have eaten. Braised in Chinese style. Sweet and salty the way we like it. For those who want to balance it off with vegetable they have it aplenty as well. I would recommend this shop. It’s the original and main store. They have a branch at the Kaoshiung international airport as well.
