  Fitness Factory is a much nicer place and a much friendlier staff than other gyms. It has all of the equipment you could need and many classes are offered throughout the week. There are usually sign-up specials and you get a discount after one year of membership.

  Best gym? Definitely not. But best gym in Taipei for sure and reasonably priced even for no contract membership. Not as claustrophobic as ALL of the other gyms we checked out within the city after relocating here. The gym is pretty spacious (for TW) and has most machines and equipment (the good brands too) one would need if you're starting out or been at it for years. Well kept and clean. But too much loitering by staff and trainers and way too much "resting" from a lot of people - they need to enforce no taking up machines if you're not using it!, The good accessories and equipment is only for training with their trainers, and stretching area is good for maybe 3-4 adults side by side. We go at "non peak" hours otherwise good luck trying to workout without interruption and maintaining g your personal space.

  I was lucky enough to get to use this gym because I was a guest at the nearby Home Hotel. The hotel has an arrangement with Fitness Factory which gives guests free access. This is one of the best gyms I’ve seen anywhere in the world. Clean facilities and every type of equipment you could ever dream of. They also have a great selection of supplements. I will definitely come back here the next time I visit Taipei.
