  The room was relatively well priced, and a decent size, but felt like it was in the midst of renovations with nails sticking out of the walls. They don't service the rooms in order to be more green, which is great, but there was a full ashtray on the balcony, and an empty bottle when we arrived. They provide a towel and shower gel/shampoo (which supports the local community) if you ask, but take your own shampoo. The location is great! Right by Pier 2 and only 2 minutes from the MRT. We didn't have any contact with staff apart from check-in. The hotel appears to support local artists by displaying the some of their work. An idea we thoroughly approve.

  Nicely refurbished hotel. Comfortable rooms. Friendly service. Large selection of Taiwanese craft beer available at the ground floor reception/lobby.
