  This is a wonderful couples' spa retreat within 45 minutes drive from Kaohsiung, Taiwan's second largest city. It is definitely adult-oriented, with segregated men's and women's indoor spa facility as the centerpiece of the resort. The indoor spa is excellent, with clean and modern furnishings, sauna, steam room, and soaking pools of various temperature, some with massaging jet streams. Given the tropical climate, it makes sense that one side of the facility is open to the outside, with lush vegetation and the distinctive sound of tree frogs. We got a reasonably priced package with dinner & breakfast included. The set dinner with choice of entré and salad/seafood/desert bar was excellent. The children's activity room is the one spot in obvious need of renovation - but as noted, this is not a kid's resort anyway.
