  Yummy shrimp rice! Veges were just alright though. Lively area - this shop and its neighbours remind me of HK's da pai dang.

  Delicious shrimp and rice mixed with special sauce. Took 10 minutes to get a seat.

  One of my favorite local food place in town. The concept of shrimp rice originally came from the "donburi" from mainland Japan. It's a kind of food that meat or seafood covers the rice. In Tainan, we adopted the local flavor and cooking style and use the local seafood(shrimp) to represent this delicacy. Now it has already become the specialty of Tainan. By the way, don't miss the duck egg soup!
