::This is a very good Taiwanese restaurant. Very similar to Din Tai Fung in food and cost. High quality. Very rice.

::Almost as good as Din Tai Feng

::Blown away by the food at this restaurant nestled in the mountains right outside of Taipei. Almost went to their sister Italian restaurant, but def preferred local Taiwanese cuisine. Chic atmosphere, there is definitely a mosquito problem, but they eventually turned on the mosquito lamps which killed most of them. I eat pescatarian and no dairy, so it was amazing to see so many creative pescatarian options with no pork. Highlights were the following: - melon and shrimp xiao long bao and pumpkin skin & fish dumplings were delicious, thin skin and juicy. - scallion pancakes were crispy and stuffed with lots of scallion - hot and sour soup was deliciously sour, but note that it did have pork - the veggies were salted and full of flavor - crispy exterior tofu with soft interior literally blew our minds! Highly recommended if you’re coming down the mountain from the hot springs, but they really need to work on the mosquito problem! Four stars because of that.
