::Taking a half day to explore around two main attraction spots. Great view and good to visit:)

::An easy and slow paced ride. Even my super cautious mom was not scared of the "crystal" gondolas with the see through floors. You might have to wait on a longer line for it. Crystal gondolas come after every 3rd or 4th regular ones. Once is good enough, catch a regular one on the way down. Fun for kids of all ages. 100TWD = less than $3.50USD from bottom to the very top. (4 stations total) Kids 5 years and under are free. Zoo closes at 4pm, plan accordingly if you want to go.

::Such a great experience to ride the gondola with kids! A peak view of Taipei from different angle! Ant itβs next to the Zoo!

::Absolutely beautiful ride up to the village of Maokong. Well worth the reasonable asking price and the crystal gondola (glass floor) was really cool. You can hear the birds and the wildlife as you travel up the mountain, itβs so quiet and peaceful. Only thing that would make it better is cleaner windows/clearer glass. Hard to take good photos out of!

::If you are going out to the zoo, definitely take the cable car up the mountain. Leave yourself enough time to explore around on the two main stops. One has an interesting temple complex. The other has lots of food stalls worth investigating. It is a bit pricey, but the views are great and it is a much more pleasant experience than trying to go up Taipei 101.
