This is quite an amazing and remarkable place to visit. It is very large and impressive in its size and presence. There is a big statue on top and then several floors of museum items, all surrounded by an attractive park. The museum was interesting though not much was in English.

Impressive building and impressive view. make sure you know there is an escalator or elevator option in case you don't want to walk the stairs up. (though the view when you turn around after you finished walking up feels like quite an accomplishment for the lesser fit people among us :P ) The guards shoes look awfully uncomfortable though many of the soldiers wobble when they march. The clothing material is super thin, which is good against the heat but you can see everything underneath the clothes without even trying.

A must visit of you ever go to Taipei. This place is Ultra easy to get to via the MTR as it has its own station. It's also massive! A lot bigger than I thought! Anyways we strolled around the large courtyard area and then went into the Hall to check out the huge statue with the guards in front. We were also lucky to see a changing of the guard which went for quite a while and was cool to watch.

Very grand place and seeing it in person is even more impressive. Photos don't do this place justice. There's also a medium size museum that describes the life of Chiang Kai Sek. Changing of the guard is also pretty interesting. A garden is just at the side and in spring, it's very beautiful. You might be able to see some fascinating birds.

When I travel, I usually avoid going to attractions where a lot of tourists flock to. Surprisingly, when I went to this memorial hall, I had quite a great experience! This attraction is well-maintained and the hourly changing of the guards ceremony was quite fascinating. I am glad that there are elevators for those who may deem it difficult to walk up and down the stairs, vending machines for those who may need refreshment, gift shops for those who have the need to shop, and toilets for those who may need to relieve themselves.
