::They are charging full price despite only having two temporary expeditions only suitable for very small children. Not telling customers ahead of time and then refusing price concessions - or better yet, refunds after this becomes clear after a few minutes inside - is remarkable for a taxpayer funded institution. We had four people wasting money on this. Give it a miss.

::If you're on a field trip I think this place should be included in your list of destination, they have a safety environment for learning especially for kids and some instructions/sign board are bilingual. Though it is a bit inconvenient because they are renovating. But am hoping it'll finish soon.

::Okay, to be fair, we visited this place during construction work, so it probably wasn't as fun as it would've been in its full glory... The entrance fee for the basic exhibition was 100TWD for a grown-up and 70TWD for a student. The rest of the activities cost extra. However, for two adults, no kids, just the four floors of partially closed exhibition provided fun for over three hours. And, based on what witnessed, all the kids running around were having a blast, too! The place is really good for kids and parents of all ages, plenty of colorful buttons to hit while roaming the place, but also detailed explanations for the curious ones of how things work. Take your kids here, play with the stuff and have a nice, and surprisingly educational day!

::It’s a real cool place no matter for kids or adults. I’m here for natures connect exhibitions. However. It is now abit empty and dusty as renovation is going on. But it is quite a good place to spend a whole day for visit.

::A good place to take 4-12 year olds. The permanent exits on 3F-5F are mostly bilingual, though it's frustrating that some hands on exhibits have explanations only in Chinese. I've taken young children through the digestive system area and they have really enjoyed it. Not many good eating places but you can buy food at the convenience store on the first floor. There are special exhibits that keep changing. Basement parking is easy and convenient. You can take your kids to the amusement park nearby which is very reasonably priced (you'll need easy cards for kids which are on sale at the venue if you don't have one)
