  Convenient, well stcocked, clean, modern local supermarkets. Sometimes it is a little understaffed, but you could say that about many businesses in Taiwan as there is a bit of a labour shortage. In my opinion this is caused by the shifting demographic towards an aged society and the high level of education which leaves a shortage of lower-skilled workers.

  A convenient place to find most of your basic groceries. As an American, there may be a few things that are not here that I'd like to have, but this ain't America so I don't expect to find everything might want.
