::One of the best beer hangouts in Taipei. The local beers are served here and so are Belgian beers. And Arvin, the owner, is the best! Salamat!!!

::Had a really wonderful experience at something ALES today. The owner let us in, even though it was 4pm and far from opening time. He then hooked me up with a smooth, local IPA for just $200nt. It was a new keg so the pour had some foam. He gave me a second pint for free! Amazing service, great laid-back atmosphere and a super friendly owner. Looking forward to coming back.

::Something Ales is back in business! With under-market prices, a spot-on selection and a passionate and knowledgeable owner, SA is _the_ place to be in Taipei for those who love Belgian beer (there are a few IPAs too, you heathens). And while the interior isn't as cosy and quaint as in the previous place, it's easy to let that slide when you're in good company...especially of a solid Westmalle Tripel!

::The place to go to find out first hand about craft beer in Taiwan from the man who pretty much started it all. Nice selection of Belgian, local and imported craft beer. Great place to sit, have a beer and a chat with friends or without. Easy to strike up a convo with random people at this place.
