::I used to go to this tiny, adorable, audiovisual-classroom-like cinema during college. They usually play rare, non-mainstream drama and documentary films, which could sometimes make them almost exclusive in the city. Usually there are only two staff, one at the ticket counter; the other one at the cinema entrance, so make sure to purchase your ticket and enter it on time otherwise they might leave where they were at.

::This is quite an interesting place - not just because of its history (it used to be the US embassy in ROC, until the US recognized PRC as representative of China and the Americans had to abandon the building), or the good cinema. There is a great café as well as a souvenir shop with beautiful Taiwanese design products. Definitely one of the places to visit while you are in Taipei!

::A really cool and unique place to visit in Taipei, they offer cool independent and bigger name movies in a cool and unique environment. Downstairs from the movie theater they have a restaurant and some cool handmade arts stores. Definitely worth a visit!

::Very pretty. Good coffee, but the desserts were unimpressive (good, but not amazing). Beautiful space.

::It's a special place and unique coffee shop. Not only it offers nice cup of coffee but also the little movie theatre it attached to it. Not sure about the service staff though. It also hard to have calm and cool conversation when the neighboring loud customers. That's probably the only two down points. Cheese cake was quite nice. I always enjoyed watching movie next door. Some fond memories here ;)
