  The coffee was done very well, which was as expected, but the butter-flavor of the the pastry was so strong that it overwhelmed the subtle flavors of the coffee. If you come here, just get coffee. Pairing the coffee with their pastries diminishes the experience.

  Before I begin, I would love to clarify that the staffs are friendly and helpful, and what I'm going to say below is simply a list of things that I think the cafe owner needs to work on. Environment was nice, with all the trophies won by the owner nicely lined up. Coffee were not cheap as well, but I was seriously disappointed at the quality. Let's start with the pour overs: The ceramic cup smells funny. It has a scent of expired milk , which is bad enough to ruin the whole experience. Both cups for both pour overs smells funny. Coffee was average, and for that price, I honestly think it is a rip off. You really need to educate the staff how to get the full flavour out of the coffee, and how NOT to get the unpleasant flavours. Not sure if it was the water quality/the temperature/the equipment/the beans, but if the barista is not happy satisfield with it, please don't serve it to the consumer. People like us travel all the way to try your coffee, so please think about how to provide your customer good tasting coffee. Now, here comes the part I'm furious about. The espresso and the latte.... The espresso was one of the worst I've ever had. Severly under extracted, completely wasted the beans. (To be honest, even though it was severly under extracted, the taste was still rather complex and I believe the beans have got a lot more in it.) Just look at the crema...It was very very thin with a very pale colour...I know crema doesn't represent the taste, however, it was just dreadful... Maybe the beans were too fresh hence not suitable for espresso..But again, please don't serve it if it's not great. Latte...The latte art tells me the Batista is probably inexperienced in whatever he is doing.... Please, spend more time in improving the quality of your drinks.

  Beautiful cafe tucked away in the side streets. The coffee and matcha roll cake is worth the price. The cafe itself is quite small, maybe not great for a big groups. You can sit max. 4 at a table. But there's a few outdoor tables for bigger groups. I went once during the weekend and the cafe was very full. I went back a second time during the weekday and was able to get a seat. But it was still very busy so it doesn't feel like a place you can just sit there for a long time like other cafes.

  A bit pricey and not the best seating. Their coffee is really worth the money though. Get a pound cake to go with your hot coffee. Good for coffee lovers, go elsewhere for hanging out.
