  Saw/heard the band Japanese Breakfast here. Enjoyed the band and the venue. Great music space for Taipei. It's all underground (literally if not figuratively - OK, maybe figuratively, too) but sounds good and the air is fresh. Hard to fathom that I bought ticket for show at FamilyMart convenience store, but that's my foreignness talking. I did try dropping by space for a ticket because st the time Google Maps noted it opened at 3pm but I found it still closed at 4-4:30 pm - but I don't if advanced tickets are available at site; I went on an assumption. Anyway, got tix and enjoyed. See you there next time I'm in town!

  KORNER! Great underground bar in Taipei. Themes-up very often, great for a night out throughout the week. Good prices, beer selection, and the service as well. Restrooms are clean and the place has two different “dance rooms” with multiple DJs alternating. Cover is required (maybe not if you dress up for the theme) but you get a drink with it.

  Really enjoyed going out to Korner. Not too small, not too big. Two different rooms (I think there is even a third room, but it wasn't open the nights I went). Good sound system. Entrance fee and price for the drinks were okay too! I guess for people who like techno/house it's the place to be in Taipei!
