  Very nice common space area, clean beds, and showers.The host is a married couple that is very knowledgeable on the area.They can speak English too a big plus indeed. They have some house rules which will help enhance your stay here. The only negative I can think of is if you are staying in the girls only room called" Antarctica" there is a barking dog that can be annoying but luckily at night you can't hear the barking dog. Helpful tips: there is an onion pancake shop on the corner ( it's very yummy) there is also a bun shop across the street that opens early.

  Awesome hostel! Una and the rest of the staff are really cool and super welcoming to all guests. Nice common area, good facilities, and clean beds! Coming back to stay with them for one more night before I leave Hualien this weekend!
