::This is where the trail up Elephant Mountain starts and stops. The park itself is quite small and peaceful, but I think most tourist come here to walk up the Elephant Mountain. The walk is mostly on stairs and takes about 20 minutes, but since it is usually hot in Taipei, you will break a sweat. Bring something to drink and something to wipe your neck with. It's also good to bring mosquito repellent, at least if you visit in the evening. Once at the top, the view is very nice, especially of Taipei 101. Well worth the effort.

::Don't miss the trail. If you have kids there is also a very nice playground.

::This is a great park to bring kids to and a nice alternative to Da An park. The playground area is perfect for kids 8 and under. There's a lot of seating for parents with large bathrooms nearby (family bathrooms too). It's very close to the Xiangshan Shan MRT station so easy to get to.

::A great newly renovated park near Taipei 101 and Elephant mountain, my son loves this place and for good reason. They have a cool big climbing wall for kids. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere new to take your kids to.
