::Best place to see Taipei. Beware of the steps to go up though

::I was almost going to skip this place because someone told me that you can't see Taipei 101 from here due to current pollution. I'm so glad I came. Pick a sunny or clear sky day then you will see Taipei 101. Only a 15 min hike. The sunset and night scene are just gorgeous. Recommend coming at around 5pm in February. A MUST SEE.

::Amazing hiking trails all the ways up Elephant Mountain. The air is fresh and there are lots of nice places to stop for a snack or arrest along the way. The Climb can be as intense as you want there are easier routes and more difficult routes to take. The views of the city are amazing once you get up there. Lots of friendly people also to chat with along the hiking path. bring water as it can get hot depending on the weather and the day...👍👍👍

::Great views of Taipei and Taipei 101. The hike takes time and I would recommend buying a bottle of water before hiking to the time. It's not for individuals who are not physically fit.

::Beautiful place to go and watch over the Taipei skyline. Commonly crowded, many photographers come here for THAT photo. Regardless a beautiful place that takes your breath away. Because of the view and the challenging stairs to get there. The rock up there is great for tourist photos "next to" the 101 building. This place is a MOST for anyone visiting Taipei.
