It's a very basic tea museum. There are tea demos but seem to be only for chinese-speaking people. Free cups of tea. The garden was closed. No signs telling when they open it.

Free tea tastings and purchasing if you like. A beautiful garden at rear, but the trail is blocked off. The museum displays tea making machinery and different types of teas depending on levels of fermentation, roasting and rubbing. Free entry and situated in the infamous Muzha tea park area, not to far from one of the gondola stations.

They have tie guan ying for you to try for free. It was delicious! However there isn't much else here, and it is a bit far from the station... Not worth the walk if you are just coming for this, unless you're also visiting the tea stores nearby.

Rating it 3 only because there is free tea to drink. The place is small and far away from the gondola station. Walk here only if you have 20minutes to spare or you really love to have some free tea

Very underwhelming and certainly not worth the +/-20 minute walk from the Maokong gondola stop. The only attraction seems to consist of some machines to process and dry tealeaves, each accompanied by a very brief and rather uninformative written English explanation. As we tried to walk in the tea garden, a staff member hurried to explain to us that it was closed (?). Apparently, the only way to visit the garden is by a guided tour and the only way to attend an English tour is to apply for it in advance. We didn't get to taste any tea, nor did we learn anything from the (local) tea production process. All in all, it felt like a wasted opportunity: with improved content, this could easily be a worthy addition to the vibrant tea scene in Maokong.
