  Overall speaking, this hotel doesn't deserve the price tag. You can hear next rooms every movement :talking, music, slamming the closet door and cars driving outside in the road. No your usual shower , only the Japanese style which makes me wonder where I am. Buffet restaurant serves the same food for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is a disaster which food are mostly cold and yuk. The B&B place we stayed for two nights before this so called 5 star hotel is much better to be honest.

  The location of this hotel is very good. We had food at the cafe and you can fell the serenity having a meal with view of the sun moon lake. The food is decent. I think the good thing about the cafe is there is a kids playing area right next to it. So it's good for both the parents and the kids to enjoy a nice relaxing afternoon.

  Excellent experience beyond my expectations, renewed my obsolete idea of local hotel quality. Could be one of the best among my visit of different countries across continents. Accompanied with tremendous view of world known Sun Moon lake, this hotel is exceptional for its hospitality brought by all its well trained employees, from staff to janitor, each one is polite and totally willing to offer help. Besides its various in door or out door activities, spa and pool are worthy to visit, where the whole family could have wonderful several hours there. Room is pretty clean and spacious, service is fast and just as needed.

  Five-star hotel with friendly service and the best location for the guests' vacations. You are already at one of the most beautiful lake views in the world, Sun Moon Lake, combined with one of the best accommodation experience by Fleur de Chine, it was a wonderful vacation. The hotel takes care of everything for you, from 2 awesome daily meals to entertainment, from shuttle service at the Taichung HSR to biking around the lake, you literally just have to show up, and everything else is set for you. I notified the hotel of the special anniversary for my wife, and they decorated the room for us and have us special treats to enjoy throughout the stay. Every staff I met was knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous; I wish every hotel in the world can learn a thing or two from Fleur de Chine. That is the highest praise I can give to a resort.

  We arrived as part of tour. Staff were very friendly and professional. Tea and cookies were great to greet us. Rooms were clean and big - for family with 2 underaged children, one room is enough. Beds were queen or king double definitely will fit. We also received one pyjama each (man and woman each) that you can use to walk around the hotel. Ground floor is entertainment room where it has table tennis and gaming area. Don’t forget to visit the roof top bar - would be lovely in the afternoon to over look the lake. I would at least stay here 2 nights. Buffet breakfast was also nice with varieties.
