  Pricey, room is very small. Even got cockroach in the room

  Though the room is small, worn and torn, the price is comparatively lower (lowest) than other nearby hotels. The location is very convenient with ferry terminal, shops and local restaurants just downstairs. We asked to upgrade our room with balcony for extra NTW$1,000 per night. The superb view proved worth it. We rented bicycles overnight and parked them outside hotel lobby. Remarks: This hotel shares the same lobby, restaurant, breakfast area with Sun Moon Lake Hotel (碼頭水沙連大飯店) as they are the same hotel but different grading of rooms.

  Clean, cozy rooms with a great view of Sun Moon lake. Bathrooms are a little small but clean.

  Clean, Convenient and with a view. Stayed here on Nov 5th. The hotel is inside the town area near the piers. Plus, there is a discount on the ticket for hotel guests. If you are not a hotel, you need to pay $376 Ntd but as hotel guest you only $100 Ntd each. Plus, everything within walking distance, restaurant and Starbucks is within 2 minutes walked. Room – We booked a room with a view. Not the entire Sun Moon Lake but enough. All the amenities inside the room are there. NOTE: even though my room was good condition but in sister room, she found three cockroaches run around. The hotel staff changes her room but she needs to pay $300Ntd extra because that room has a view. Balcony – you can look over the lake and part of the town area. Quite nice. Safe box – no safety box. Bathroom – Bathroom is clean and comes with all the towels. Only thing is no shower curtain. Wifi – they provide but I don’t use them. Breakfast – they have wide variety from salad, bread, coffee to porridge. Mostly are Taiwanese. No scramble eggs or hash brown. I did take any photograph for the breakfast. Too busy eating. Electrical jacks – enough electrical jacks for charging. Closet – No closet. Open closet with 3 or 4 hangers. Parking – the hotel does not have its own parking. We need to park at the public area. A lot parking space but it’s on the other side of road. Its about 200 to 250 meters away. The hotel will re-imburse the parking fee which is $100 ntd all day. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I slept well. No complaint.

  Great location with plenty to do right outside the door. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the lake and pier with a nice little balcony to sit and enjoy the evening air. The Wi-Fi in our room did not work however and the tv seemed to have blown speakers so we were unable to use it. The shower wasn't really a shower, more of a stand up little tub that had no curtain so to use it would have soaked the entire bathroom. The tile was pretty gross so a bath was out of the question as well. It is obviously an older building but the least they could do give the rooms an update and clean things up a bit. Our stay was good, but for the money, I expected a little more from the room.
